Imari, for ~Batmaggs. Not much to say right now, except this is a character portrait of a woman under a sort of dark magical compulsion. Imari is one of my favourite characters. She seems controlled but troubled. She seems to be a mixture of very intense things hidden under a very refined exterior. She seems light, but I think she is rather dark inside. I'm trying to get through all the character pieces I am owing people
 without descending into utter portrait shots, things like that.I guess this one is more of a story than a portrait anyway. I have put a little less symbolism in than intended, but it is still there. If you are interested, I have uploaded some concept/in-progress/closeup shots to my scraps gallery, so you can see all the messy lines and workings behind this etc |
